The 1830s Jones Stock Farm, comprised of the Dog-Trot Log Cabin, the Summer Kitchen and the Stock Farm Outbuildings, is one of the earliest settlements of northeast Mexico and is brought to life through an impressive lineup of first-person portrayals, demonstrations and hands-on activities. Explore pioneer living at its finest in the Dog-Trot Log Cabin. In this 1830s log-cabin replica, you’ll have the opportunity to explore almost every nook and cranny. You might even come across members of the Jones’ family performing domestic chores such as weaving. In the outdoor kitchen, discover what cooking was like in 19th century Texas.
